The Paulick Report is excited to have photographer Eric Kalet back in New York this year to share his unique perspective on Belmont Stakes week.
Each day, we'll see through Eric's eyes the preparations, festivities, and important moments leading up to the 148th running of the Grade 1 Belmont Stakes.
The Belmont contenders were once again out in full force Friday morning as they continued to prepare for Saturday's race. The graded stakes action got underway Friday afternoon as Joking took the Grade 2 True North and Dacita won the Grade 2 New York. Da Big Hoss also broke $1 million in earnings with his victory in the listed Belmont Gold Cup Invitational.
