Trainer Manny Azpurua confirmed that Ravelo’s Boy will run in the Belmont Stakes (gr. I) after his colt turned in a sharp seven furlong workout at Calder Racecourse on Sunday.

The 3-year-old son of Lawyer Ron, who has not started since finishing fifth in the Tampa Bay Derby (gr. II) March 10. The chestnut colt completed the seven furlongs in 1:28.29 under jockey Alex Solis.
