Keeping with the same plan that he had when preparing his colt for the Preakness, trainer Doug O’Neill had I’ll Have Another loaded on a van and on his way to Belmont Park early Sunday morning.

Getting the chestnut colt used to the track and his new surroundings is of utmost importance. O’Neill shipped to Pimlico shortly after I’ll Have Another won the Kentucky Derby.

“Getting here, getting settled in, was huge,” he said.
