Equine Chiropractor Larry Jones has travelled with I’ll Have Another throughout the colt’s Triple Crown run providing massage, stretching and adjustments for the horse, reports the New York Times.  Jones has worked with all types of horses around the world, including polo ponies, jumpers, quarter horses and thoroughbred racehorses. He worked with I’ll Have Another just four hours after the colt’s Preakness triumph to give I’ll Have Another a massage.  Afterwards, the horse cleaned his feed bin and was sleeping comfortably early in the night.

Jones objects to being called a chiropractor: “I’m not a chiropractor, I’m a positionalist,” he said. “I set the horses up so they do a biomechanical adjustment themselves. Mechanically, physically, mentally – they have a whole new outlook on their job after. They eat better, digest better, rest better.”
