Glenn Todd, who stables horses at Hastings Park and was a mentor for Mario Gutierrez, talks about Gutierrez’s ride in the Preakness, his abilities as a jockey, and what he saw from Gutierrez when the jockey first started out at Hastings. Todd was impressed from the beginning by Gutierrez’s hands and ability to get a horse to relax and finish with something left.
