Champion So You Think rolled to an impressive six-length victory in the Tattersalls Gold Cup (Ire-I) at the Curragh May 27.

It was the second consecutive victory in the race by the son of High Chaparral, who bounced back from his fourth-place finish in the Dubai World Cup (UAE-I) March 31.

Ridden by Joseph O’Brien, So You Think provided trainer Aidan O’Brien with his sixth winner of the race in the last ten years.

So You Think looked so good in this race, completely running away from the pack. I really like this horse and am so glad he is showing good form this year. O’Brien seems to finally know how to bring out his best. Does anyone know what the agreement was about him returning to Australia? I thought he was bought by Coolmore. Is he going back to race or stand stud there?

I could be wrong, but I believe he is majority owned by Coolmore.  If I had to guess, he’ll shuttle back and forth between Ireland and Australia for stud duty.
