Keeneland's Shadwell Turf Mile and the Bourbon Stakes, both originally scheduled for the turf but moved to the main track due to heavy rain over the weekend, will retain their original grades.
According to the Blood-Horse, the American Graded Stakes Committee announced Monday that the Shadwell Turf Mile would remain a Grade 1, while the Bourbon would remain a Grade 3.
In accordance to policy, the Shadwell had been downgraded to a G2 and the Bourbon to a listed event when they were moved from the turf to the main track. The Shadwell Turf Mile was won by Silver Max; Poker Player captured the Bourbon Stakes.
