Believe You Can & Rosie Napravnik win the 2012 KY Oaks

Kentucky Oaks winner Believe You Can headlines the possible starters for the June 23 Mother Goose run at Belmont Park, reports the Thoroughbred Times. Other possible starters include Broadway’s Alibi, Contested, Zo Impressive, Grace Hall, Eden’s Moon, and Killer Graces. In Lingerie was also nominated but is more likely to wait for the Coaching Club American Oaks in July.

Believe You Can worked five furlongs in :59.60 Monday morning in advance of her start in the Mother Goose.

“Everything was really good,” trainer Larry Jones said. “She worked nice and galloped out really good. She came back good, so it looks like she’s going to the Mother Goose in good shape.”
