Two-time Grade 1 winner Lady of Shamrock is likely to head out of town for her next start.
Trainer John Sadler told the Daily Racing Form that he is looking at running the daughter of Scat Daddy in races longer than nine furlongs. As a result, he is looking at either the 1 1/4-mile New York Handicap at Belmont Park or the 1 3/16-mile Modesty Handicap at Arlington Park.
In her most recent start, Lady of Shamrock was third in the 1 1/8-mile G1 Gamely Stakes to Marketing Mix and Tiz Flirtatious. Sadler believes that his filly wants go a distance of ground this year, and there aren't any races scheduled for 10 furlongs or longer at the Betfair Hollywood Park meet.
