Broadway’s Alibi, runner-up in the 2012 Kentucky Oaks, will miss the Grade 1 Acorn to be run next Monday at Belmont, reports the Daily Racing Form. Todd Pletcher said her most recent work was just okay and she may need a little more time to recover from the Oaks. Broadway’s Alibi may now point to Grade 1 Mother Goose at 1 1/16 miles on June 23.

In Lingerie, who won the Black-Eyed Susan on May 18, came out of the race with a laceration on her foot.

“It’s one of those things because of the amount of blood that was coming out it looked bad until you got it cleaned up and saw it was just a very minor cut,” said Pletcher.

In Lingerie will likely point to the Coaching Club American Oaks at Saratoga on July 21 for her next start, said Pletcher.
