Jockey Alan Garcia has been a regular fixture on the New York circuit for several years now, even though he is only 27. The native of Peru has won several big races during his young career, including the 2008 G1 Belmont Stakes with Da' Tara.
In a recent interview with Jennie Rees of the Louisville Courier-Journal, Garcia talks about the decision for he and his family to move to Kentucky earlier this spring, and how the change in lifestyle has been beneficial for not only himself, but for his wife and two young sons.
