TVG to Offer Free Wagering, Video Streaming Starting April 1
Beginning April 1, TVG, America’s horse racing network, will offer free wagering and video streaming for all customers. TVG’s new pricing structure replaces the one, effective since the company launched in July 1999, that charges 25 cents per wager fee for some customers.
In addition, customers will now receive 10 hours of free video streaming per month, with the opportunity to earn ongoing free service based on activity.
“We are excited to be offering wagering and video streaming free of charge to all our customers,” said Don Scott, TVG’s Vice President of Marketing. “Moving to a free pricing structure is in direct response to customer sentiment.”
TVG, a subsidiary of Betfair Group plc, the premier e-gaming betting community, is among the most widely distributed horse racing networks in the world. TVG is one of the largest legal online gaming companies in the US, accepting over $650 million in wagers in 2011. The company has demonstrated its commitment to the racing industry, its owners, tracks and fans through sponsorship of several preeminent races including the TVG Pacific Classic and the TVG Jockey Club Gold Cup.
