Saratoga Harness Racing Inc. (SHRI), which operates Saratoga Casino and Raceway, has completed its purchase of Fitzgeralds Casino Black Hawk in Colorado, according to a press release on its website.

The property was previously owned by Majestic Star Casino; SHRI paid $28 million for the establishment, which will be renamed Saratoga Casino-Blackhawk.

Last year, SHRI acquired an ownership interest in Ellis Park when the Henderson, Ky., racetrack was seeking help financing its construction of a parlor to house its historical race games.
