Tonight’s 90-minute edition of Night School, the racing industry’s national online fan education program, features an in-depth look at racing’s ultimate jackpot wager, the pick six. The session will get under way at 8:30 p.m. ET. Special guest instructor will be Chicago-based pick six syndicate chief Steve Leving, who has worn many hats around the racetrack, including bloodstock adviser, racing official and jockey agent. He is the former racing manager for the powerful Frank Calabrese stable and now serves in the same capacity for owner/trainer Louie Roussel III. Leving will appear both on video with a detailed discussion of his strategies, as well as in the live chat to field questions from the racing fans. Tonight’s lesson will be co-hosted by Night School co-founders Joe Kristufek and Jeremy Plonk.

Also in tonight’s lesson plan will be video analysis of the pick six from Steven Crist of Daily Racing Form.

Another “After Night School Special,” featuring live racing from Mountaineer Park, will follow tonight from 10:00-11:00 p.m. ET, covering the late daily double in real time with free, live-streaming video and complimentary Daily Racing Form past performances.

Presenting title sponsors for Night School are the National Thoroughbred Racing Association, American Quarter Horse Association, Keeneland, Churchill Downs, Inc. and Daily Racing Form. Tuesday’s session will be the 16th of 40 Night School lesson plans throughout the 2012 season, which continues through November. Upcoming topics include another Newbie Tuesday for beginners on June 5 and then an in-depth handicapping seminar Thursday, June 7, dubbed “Belmont Stakes Handicapping Camp,” spotlighting full-card analysis and previews of racing’s most anticipated race of the year. Come see how the experts rate the chances of I’ll Have Another becoming Thoroughbred racing’s 12th Triple Crown winner.
