Fairplex Park enjoyed a strong fall meet this season with an increase of nearly 8 percent in its all-sources handle.

Fairplex, which wrapped up its 2012 Los Angeles County Fair meet on Sunday, also had an increase in average daily handle, which was up more than $350,000 over 2011. Overall handle was more than $67 million according to preliminary numbers.

Out-of-state handle also soared to $27.2 million, an 18 percent increase over 2011.
