Arizona Department of Gaming investigates illegal race track

Authorities raided a suspected unlicensed horse racing operation near Picacho this past weekend as part of an investigation by the Arizona Department of Gaming, reports AzCentral.com. The homemade straight-away track had rails, a starting gate and anywhere from 100-300 people in attendance. People attending the races paid a $10 entry fee. The horses involved were unharmed and returned to their owners.

Possible violations of various state gambling statutes include conducting a criminal enterprise, promoting gambling, benefiting from gambling, and possession of gambling devices.

    Instead of waiting for tips, could the authorities scan satellite maps to discover where illegal race tracks are? The latest catch appears to be right next to the 10 freeway, North of Exit 212, South of E. Phillips Rd.

    Did the authorities take the time to identify the horses, find out where they were they came from, how they got there, if they had proper health certificates, what their final destination was, etc. before releasing them to their owners?

NO REFUND OF THE SCRATCHED 1 HORSE AND THE TRACKS TOLD YOU 1A WAS STILL RUNNING .200,000 TIMES 2.00 =400,00 MADE WITHOUT A HITCH.
