The two-day OBS March sale got underway Tuesday in Ocala, Fl. and as we were at recent Keeneland sales, the Paulick Report is on site with a special print edition.  Be sure to pick up a copy if you’re on the sales grounds.  In today’s Paulick Report Special, an interview with bloodstock adviser Gary Young about juvenile sales.  Plus, Frank Mitchell has a Florida stallion spotlight on Circular Quay.  And leaders in the Florida Thoroughbred industry answer our Question of the Day: Why do you think horses race fewer times per year today than 30-40 years ago?

     Poor execution in the first, with the second about 40 seconds too long.  Both make “Go Baby Go” seem almost profound.

    Owners who want their horses to race for more than a few starts aren’t shopping at the two-year-old sales. 

    Does anyone think that these crazy speedfests prolong any racehorse’s career?
