BC or Bust Fundraising Challenge!
We’re into the final hours of Breeders’ Cup or Bust, and we’re counting on your support to push us over our fundraising goals. Please consider making a donation today by going to the secured Breeders’ Cup Charities/BC or Bust website.
As we have stressed in the past, no amount is too small. All proceeds benefit the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund, V Foundation for Cancer Research, and Thoroughbred Charities of America. Help support these great organizations by adding your contribution by the time the Breeders’ Cup or Bust relay wraps up this evening at Churchill Downs.
We are also keeping up on the progress of our BC or Bust relay team, running and biking from Keeneland in Lexington to Churchill Downs in Louisville throughout the day.
Thomas Gaines of Gaines-Gentry Thoroughbreds, son of Breeders’ Cup founder John Gaines, ran the first leg, leaving Keeneland at 8 am. Hall of Fame jockey Pat Day will run the final leg and will be greeted at Churchill Downs by three-time Kentucky Derby-winning rider Calvin Borel.
A special thanks to Gainesway and to the many other businesses and individuals who have supported these charities.
