Margaret “Maggie” Robbins, wife of veterinarian Dr. Jack Robbins and well-recognized figure in California racing, died in her home at the age of 91 on Thursday, according to a Daily Racing Form report.

Together with her husband, Robbins bred and raced several stakes winners, including Guilton Madero, Cassaleria, Nostalgia’s Star, and Honeys Gem. The Robbins’ four sons all grew up to be influential in the industry–Don Robbins is the former president of Hollywood Park; Tom Robbins is the vice president of racing for the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club; Jay Robbins trained Horse of the Year Tiznow; David Robbins is an attorney who often hired by Thoroughbred industry clients.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
