Jockey David Flores, a mainstay on the California racing circuit for many years, will be heading out of town soon to ride for a few weeks.

The Singapore Turf Club has granted Flores a short-term, two-week license, beginning July 1 and running through July 14.

Flores, 45, has ridden over 3,000 career winners, including three Breeders' Cup victors (Action This Day, Tempura, and Singletary). He also captured the 2001 UAE Derby aboard Express Tour.
