Randall Zeller, partner in Dapple Bloodstock and Dapple Stud, died unexpectedly at 58 in New York City last week.
Zeller served as the president and CEO for Dapple Bloodstock.
“He wasn't much for a lot of fanfare and was very much an intellect and behind the scenes guy,” Dapple founder Mike Akers told Blood-Horse.
Zeller is survived by his wife and son. Contributions may be made to Dream Factory or to the American Cancer Society.
