You have to wonder if Larry Collmus calling the Ladies’ Classic on Friday is in case NBC at the last minute (before Monday’s entries are drawn, cancelling shows ahead of the “November Sweeps”) decides they want to have the Ladies Classic be its own one-hour broadcast on NBC from 8:00-9:00 PM ET in place of cancelled programming next Friday.  While unlikely, it is something NBC could do at the last minute.

I don’t get NBC Sports Network and there are undoubtedly many other racing fans in the same situation. Will HRTV or TVG be able to show the races live or on tape delay? I can’t believe that I can’t watch the Breeders’ Cup!

Wouldn’t It be nice If they scrolled across the screen before the races “free past performances.com” every few minutes.Wouldn’t this help to attract new fans?

What cable system are you on?  Most now have NBC Sports Network, and on Comcast it’s part of the basic tier in most cases (since they own it).

We have the basic Dish package which has TVG/HRTV but none of the extra sports channels. I pulled up the NBC Sports Network channel and got the message that I’d have to subscribe to a different package, which is very expensive. :(

HRTV has all BC Races Live

    Hooray! Crisis over. :)
