Eight of Korea's ten leading sires for 2012 are American-bred, according to Horse Racing in Korea. Topping the list is 1999 Kentucky Derby and Preakness runner-up Menifee, who is also the leading juvenile sire of 2012. Also listed are Forest Camp, Volponi, Vicar, and Exploit. The blog reports that One Cool Cat leads the list of stallions by mares covered in 2012, while Officer and Whywhywhy are becoming popular.
