Two-time Breeders' Cup Turf winner Conduit got off the mark as a sire when his 2-year-old daughter Meine Valiente won a six-furlong maiden at Kokura Racetrack in Japan last weekend.
Meine Valiente was bred by Big Red Farm, where Conduit stands. The filly is out of the Group 3-winning mare Cosmo Valenti, a daughter of Meiner Love.
Conduit was bred and raced by Ballymacoll Stud Farm. In addition to the two G1 Breeders' Cup Turf victories, the Sir Michael Stoute-trained horse won the St. Leger (Eng-I) and the King George & Queen Elizabeth (Eng-I).
Conduit's first foals are 2-year-olds this season.
