The Paulick Report is once again pleased to offer a special print publication, available here and on the grounds of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.
In this edition of the PR Special, Natalie Voss examines the transitions and changes that took place in the racing world during the 1980s. This is the fourth and final piece in a series called “Back to the '80s.”
In the Stallion Spotlight, Frank Mitchell focuses on the strong and precocious offspring of G1 winner Violence, which include Hips 1741 and 1760. And in Five to Watch, Mitchell gives us some Hip numbers to pay close attention to.
In the Honor Roll, Scott Jagow takes a look at the background story of Keeneland graduate and impressive G1 winner Harmonize. Jen Roytz also tells us the story of a recent barn fire at Stride by Stride, a farm that hosts a number of off-track Thoroughbreds. Staff member Margaux Glen's preventative safety training she learned at the facility helped her to resuce several horses from the blaze.
