They’re in the Gate: NYRA live race streaming gets an A

This week NYRA began to offer live streaming of races on its NYRA Rewards ADW platform and according to They’re in the Gate, things couldn’t have gone better. Easy to use and complete with video handicapping by Jason Blewitt and Andy Serling, at least one customer was clearly very happy with the new experience.

    Until the video reappears in NJ via the New Jersey Account Wagering System, the letter grade is – as it has been permanently – a resounding “F.”

    Notably absent in any of the media articles about this, both in the past & present –

    Sane explanation of why NYRA’s racing video (note to the pretentious: take your word “streaming” and shove it) disappeared in the first place.

    Which was reason #59, I suppose, why NYRA/NYCOTB/NYS OTB’s have been hemorrhaging money & probably won’t be in business by the year 2014.

    I am also a NJ Account Wagering System player. All tracks have live streaming video except for NYRA. It is little wonder they are bankrupt.
