WORKFORCE OVERTAKES QUALITY ROAD
In the most recent World Thoroughbred Rankings, Workforce has overtaken Quality Road after his win in the Investec Derby at Epsom. Making only his third appearance, he defeated his rivals by 7 lengths and set a course record.
Despite his impressive Metropolitan Handicap win, Quality Road slips to number two in the rankings with Paco Boy, Zenyatta and Byword rounding out the top five.

Quality Road has had numerous impressive races setting numerous track records. For now Workforce is a one hit wonder and my vote rests with Quality Road.
Should Workforce demonstrate an ability to duplicate the effort I reserve the right to reassess.

I agree with Caleb B., Quality Road has done a remarkable job this year as a 4 year old and in my opinion, he was just as awesome last year as well. I can’t help but wonder if he hadn’t had problems at the starting gate in last years Breeder’s Cup, perhaps he would have better respect? Heck you can’t blame him for that race. Zenyatta was sticking her tongue out, at all of the colts, tormenting them. I pray we see Quality Road, Zenyatta & Rachel Alexandra in the Breeder’s Cup this year. Talk about an exciting race

Word has finally reached the other side of the pond that Quality Road has faced and beat only east coast tomato cans.
People are starting to see through the smoke and mirrors.
Quality Road is a fake.
He didn’t want anything to do with Zenyatta in the Breeders’ Cup Classic.
We already found out that Rachel Alexandra is a fake.
And they call the racing surface in California fake?
Everything in the east coast is a fake.
It’s so bad with east coast horses that some east coast partisan hack from another publication has the nerve to call Blame a star. Blame, with one Grade 1 win a star.
Yep, give Quality Road credit for beating Musket Man, a horse that has gone all the way from the Classics to getting beat by an over-priced claimer from Emeralddowns called Atta Boy Roy, whom just lost to a horse called Riley Tucker.
And the second place horse, Tizway, has never won a stakes race in his life, with only two allowance wins to his credit.
And in Quality Road’s previous race, the Donn. The field include the runner-up, Dry Martini, that had only one win in over thirty two months!
East coast tomato cans - smoke and mirrors - take your choice.

Comment #4 is a perfect example of the ignorant, hostile horse-bashing that passes for commentary on the Internet. This disgusting denigration of every horse not named Zenyatta is driving people away from web sites and runing racing for a lot of us.

I’ve been off the net for a week with computer problems so I get it…is this something new with #4? You put in stupid fake comments and the other people have great fun telling the idiot exactly how big an idiot he is…Wow this is fun…but couldn’t you come up with a more iteresting phony name than “John”. Oh well, let’s talk horses…..Quality Road is King…Zenyatta is the Queen…it’s going to be a great BC especially if Rachel shows up too!! Now that’s horse racing. P.S. Wow that Paco Boy was something going after Goldikova. Though he didn’t win, he ran a spectacular race. It’s painful being a boy in a girl’s world.
