RACING INDUSTRY TO DEVELOP INJURY DATABASE FOR JOCKEYS
During day two of the two-day health and safety summit administered by the Grayson-Jockey Club Foundation, plans for an injury database for jockeys was discussed. It will be modeled after the existing Equine Injury Database.
The project is in the formative stages and should take more shape over the next 12 to 18 months.
