Wonderful to see some US press in Japan at last!
For some of the events experienced by Sheppaard's assistant trainer, Barry G. Wiseman, and the colt Just As Well, who have been there since Sunday, November 15, please read at the link below. Pictures of Just As Well and Barry along with a description from Barry of yesterday's work are all on this story site:

I adore your graphic of the horse on the alarm clock.

Thanksgiving today here in the US of A and wanted to take a moment to thank you and the commenters for an informative and entertaining ride. Long may the Paulick Report and its readers flourish.

I have been impressed with the timeliness of the transportation in Japan. Also, I have been impressed with the ethical integrity of workers in Japan.

On one visit, I bought my wife a handbag. When we went through airport security, my wife accidentally left it on the scanner. She did not realize she had lost the bag until we were halfway home on the airplane.

When we got home, I sent a fax to the airport, describing the brand new bag and was stunned about a week or later when it arrived at my home!

How many other countries would you expect something like this to happen?
