Her passing is felt greatly. Perhaps one of her personal "best" moments was the day she became a mother finally giving birth to Genuine Reward and later Count Your Blessing. I met her shortly after she had Genuine Reward, and she was so content and in love with her foal...after so many times not having one. I had the priveledge of meeting Genuine Risk last year. I was also fortunate enough to receive from her caretaker, Buck Moore, some hair from her tail. Genuine Risk was a classy lady who's life can teach all of us lessons on how to live. To quote from another post on another site, "Time may have robbed the world of your presence, Dear Lady, but your legend will live on." God Bless you Genuine Risk and enjoy Heaven.
